Decollo esposto ad ovest,si decolla per poi uscire fuori e andare veleggiare sul chilometrico costone della spiaggia del Mingardo direttamente sul mare.In giornate primaverili buona attività termica con possibilità di quote importanti (700 800 metri) a picco sul mare.Dal lato opposto del crinale c'è anche un decollo esposto ad est che permette comunque di decollare anche con venti da quadranti opposti a quelli con cui si vola e di volarevolgendo lo sguardo al centro di Marina di Camerota.Il decollo è raggiungibile con qualsiasi veicolo.
