The reasons are always spelled out — no opaque score, no magic. At St. Agnes as anywhere else, the final go decision remains the pilot's, after local briefing and direct observation.

Launch Notes: Be 120% certain of lift before launching. If in doubt – don’t. It is a very short carry from the car park to the rigging area. Site Description: A cliff site with ABSOLUTELY NO BOTTOM LANDING. Beware – The Perranporth airfield ATZ begins just to the right of launch (i.e. towards St Agnes village). The club has negotiated permission to fly just inside the ATZ but all pilots must ensure that they contact Perranporth ATC before flying. All pilots must also ensure that they do not fly in the NO FLY ZONE as marked in red on the map below and restrict their height to St. Agnes: ridge soaring site in South West England, United Kingdom.
